Mexican Food in Sharosu-gil: Dos Tacos, Seoul National University Station Branch

I was feeling hungry before my workout, so I looked for a restaurant nearby.
Luckily, I found a place that serves Mexican food, which I absolutely adore, so I headed straight there! 😉
I visited a fantastic taco spot called ‘Dos Tacos Seoul National University Station Branch’! 🌮
Mexican cuisine is renowned for its spicy and diverse flavors. And the perfect spot to enjoy those authentic Mexican flavors is right here. As the oldest taco place near Seoul National University Station, it has consistently been a beloved spot for many!
You’ll easily spot it right at the entrance of Sharosu-gil. It occupies the second and third floors of a three-story building, and its yellow and red exterior really pops! Wouldn’t you say it feels incredibly stylish and trendy? 😊
Their signature dishes were listed on the A-frame sign. The entrance was also incredibly hip and cute! 👍
The store’s interior exudes a very charming and cozy ambiance. With its harmonious blend of vibrant yellows and Mexican-inspired colors, simply enjoying a meal here was enough to lift my spirits! 🩷
The instructions were written in cheerful, colorful lettering. You could truly feel the kind and thoughtful consideration for the guests.🌸

They had an incredibly wide range of options, including burritos and enchiladas.
The drink menu was also extensive; I would have loved to pick a few to try if I hadn’t had plans afterward!
Ta-da! All the food we ordered has arrived! The vibrant yellow plates are adorable and seem to make the dishes look even more appetizing! 💕
First off, I absolutely loved that this place offered unlimited drink refills. It made me so happy to be able to keep drinking Coke Zero for just 3,000 won! 💜
Hard Tacos (2 pcs) 10,000 KRW
After some deliberation, I decided on these tacos instead of the Soft Tacos (2 pcs). For the protein, while beef and pork were also options, I chose chicken. They’re packed with vegetables, cheese, meat, and sauce!
The colors are just so vibrant and beautiful, and don’t they look incredibly delicious? The sauce had a slight kick to it! One is 5,500 won, but you can get two for 10,000 won. With that deal, it definitely makes sense to order two at a time! 🤤
I had mostly only tried the soft version, but the hard one was surprisingly delicious too. It was wonderfully crispy, and the rich, savory flavor was even more pronounced. Since the tortilla was nice and sturdy, it was incredibly easy to hold and eat by hand.
Meat Chipotle Salsa Burrito Bowl – ₩14,000
I was totally craving a burrito, but I figured I’d make a huge mess eating it, so I went with the bowl instead! I loved that it came with lots of my favorite olives, jalapeños, and corn. 🥰
On the side, there was a big pile of nachos. They were perfectly savory and so delicious, I just kept picking at them with my hands! 🤗 And loaded with cheese, they were exactly my style! 🤭
There was also plenty of guacamole, and as an avocado lover, I found it incredibly fresh and flavorful. Dig in generously, and you’ll discover chicken and rice inside! The rice was perfectly fluffy, and the chicken was well-fried, making for a delightful texture. The whole dish felt incredibly clean, easy on the stomach, and not at all overpowering, giving it a truly healthy vibe. 😋
Each table has two sauces. The brown one is Chili Garlic Hot Sauce! The green one is traditional Mexican Salsa. They were both so delicious that I just kept dipping into them. 🧡
I scraped the plate clean, haha! Seriously, even the sauce was too good to leave behind. It was my grand feast before Pilates! 💘

There’s clearly a reason why this place has been so consistently well-run for a long time. The food is well-prepared and perfectly balanced, not overly strong or stimulating, giving it a charm that makes you want to return! Highly recommended! ♥️
It’s an ideal spot for dates, blind dates, various gatherings, or even a family meal.
If you’re in Sharosu-gil and looking to try some incredibly delicious Mexican food, you absolutely must visit!
