Goobne Chicken in Gosichon: Gochu Basasak

Today, I’m excited to share my thoughts on something I absolutely adore: chicken!🍴
After work, I was hit with an intense craving for chicken, so I decided to get some for takeout.
I picked it up from Goobne Chicken’s Daehak-dong Branch, a well-known spot in the Goshichon area.
I was craving something savory and a little salty, but also light and not too greasy. So, I decided to go with Goobne! 😁
For the Daehak-dong branch, the quickest way to get there is from Exit 2 of Seoul Venture Town Station.

We’ve got our hands on this beautifully golden-brown roasted chicken, served with two kinds of sauce!
Marbling and Gobbling Sauces.
Personally, the spicy Gobbling sauce was more my style. It went perfectly with Gochubasasak chicken!
The first thing I grabbed was a chicken drumstick! Looks incredible, right? 💟
Packed with a fiery chili flavor, this one is absolutely perfect for spicy food lovers! 👍 It retains its signature crunch, while the inside is wonderfully soft and juicy. It truly delivers that perfect crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside texture! 🤤
When you generously dip it in the sauce, the flavor really doubles! You won’t be able to help but marvel at the sight of the sauce-drenched drumsticks! ✨ The moment it hits your mouth, the explosive crunch combined with that salty and spicy flavor combination is absolutely insane! 🔥
My favorite chicken breast was also incredibly delicious. While I generally prefer leaner cuts, the perfect balance of crispiness and tenderness was truly impressive.

It’s not greasy at all and has such a clean, light taste that I ended up eating way more than I usually do 😉
Literally, there wasn’t a single part that wasn’t delicious.

Ending the day with chicken was a moment filled with pure joy. As always after a delicious meal, my mood just soared! 🤗 Next time, I really want to try another menu item: the Black Truffle Steak Chicago Pizza! 🍕 If I get the chance, I definitely want to explore various other flavors, like the Namhae Garlic Basasak Volcano.
